You know if SG-1 had just killed Adria on the spot when they finally captured her, they could've prevented her from ascending. But of course SGC personnel often delay needed military actions until it's too late.

Fri, June 22, 2007 - 2:00 PMThey could've gotten what they wanted without the massive risk by using one of those mimic devices. They'd then get somebody to impersonate Adria and then have that person order the Ori army to lay down their arms. It's that simple. And even if the mimic devices wouldn't work in that circumstance they, must have some other alien technology they could use. After all, the SCG has brought literally tons of alien artifacts during all those stargate missions.
