So they've decided that the 10th season it to be the last season. Damn it!

What! I was just getting in to Vala and Capt. Mitchell too. That's such bad news.

I really wanted to see some grittier episodes, where the bad guy isn't so obvious. I liked the part with Vala and Daniel dealing with the traders recently. There is so much potential; it's a shame they don't see it.

I feel like there is plenty of potential for more. SG-1 has focused to much on one enemy at a time. There is still plenty of galaxy left to explore, apparently more replicators to fight, and even the Asgard could be potential enemies, not every human-Asgard relationship is as friendly as O'Neill and Thor.

Sadly, the problem isn't the potential, but what they've been doing with it. Vala is a hoot, she could move in and I'd love it, but Mitchell is being used too much as a hero-type, replacing the group-orientedd and wisenheimer O'Neill.

changing markets on a good thing, even to another good thing (which, with Mitchell and the Ori, I will dispute) is rarely a good idea.

      Dang.

Yeah, but there are the jokes about Mitchell that Carter could never make about O'Neill, like the whole bit about him losing his pants. You know she never would have said that to O'Neill.
