just watch'd it..loved it !

Thought it was an awesome "episode" but they did throw in some larger, more cinematic scenes. Felt like the Stargate SG-1 was still on the air with new seasons! Very well done, and everything was tied up nicely.

Bought and watched it twice the day it came out. Well done. Bigger and better than a single TV episode, but not quite a big budget theatrical release like Star Trek. Nice large screen cinema photography and the usual high quality special effects we have come to expect from SG-1 TV episodes. The usual good writing and story telling we expected as well. It does a good job of tying up many loose ends from Season 10.

Stargate: Continuum will be the second SG-1 direct to DVD movie. It will wrap up many of the loose ends regarding Ba'al and Nirrti. As an added bonus, we will get to see RDK as General Jack O'Neill (and Don S Davis as General Hammon; however this may only be in the form of flashback clips). I hope Gary Jones appears in this one.

Continuum will also feature some large screen cinema photography and high quality special effects. The writing and story should also be good. Again, it will be bigger and better than any single TV episode of the series, but still not a theatrical release quality film. That said, I Am really looking forward to its release in July.

Even if you are only a casual fan of the SG-1 TV show, you should still pick up both Ark of Truth and Continuum. You won't be disappointed. Put the two DVD movies together, and you have a great start to Season 11. Rumor has it that if these two DVDs sell well, there may be more direct to DVD SG-1 movies on the horizon. Perhaps even a combined SG-1/Atlantis movie as well. Will have to wait and see what happens.

Now go buy Ark of Truth now, and Continuum in July.
